    Hi,

I was looking forward to use AkrutoSync. Unfortunately I stucked already on the third screen, no way forward.

Access to google.com, yahoo.com and my router works.
The akruto connection test (found more than one connection) always fails.

I do NOT want to sync over the internet.
I would like to avoid forwarding, DNS etc.

Given network setup (fixed by corporate administration):
    +proxy
    +LAN
+VPN (special security connection, probably detected by akrutosync)
-WLAN (security policy turns it off, conflict with LAN)
+mobile, reachable through the router, fix address possible, mostly connected

    Intended network connection:
    PC – router – mobile

Can I handle this configuration with AkrutoSync?
    How do I get there?

    Thanks in advance,
    akrutomountain

    Hi akrutomountain,

Thank you for your post. AkrutoSync will not work if the computer is connected via VPN.

As per your details, the correct sync method is called Sync over home network also known as Sync over Wi-Fi.

    Requirements:
    1. Computer must be running on Windows XP / Vista / 7/ 8 / 8.1 / 10 with Outlook 2003 / 2007 / 2010 / 2013 / 2016 / Office 365 with Outlook 2013 or 2016.
    2. Computer must be wired or wireless to the router – only one connection.
    3. Phone must be connected via Wi-Fi only and its celllular data / mobile data must be OFF.
    4. Computer and phone must be using the same private IP Address RANGE. A lot of office networks, they have different IP Address range for the wired and the wireless networks – that will not work with AkrutoSync.
    5. If computer and phone are both wireless – must be connected using the same frequency.

For other details regarding your setup, please email it to support@akruto.com:
    1. The latest screenshot of AkrutoSync’s current screen from your computer

    2. What is the make and model of your phone?
If Android – What is the make and model (Settings > About phone/device > Model number) of your Android phone? What is the Android version of your Android phone (Settings > About phone/device > Android version)?
If it is a Windows phone, what Windows version?
If it is an iPhone or an iPad, what is the iOS version (Settings > General > About > Version)?

    3. Are you using Outlook 2003 / 2007 / 2010 / 2013 / 2016 / Office 365 with Outlook 2013 / 2016 on a Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8 / 8.1 / 10 computer? Is it a desktop or a laptop? Wired directly to the router or connected via Wi-Fi?

    For AkrutoSync version 5.2:
The new version allows the program to be minimized into the Taskbar Notification Area (near the system clock).

Also added a capability to take screenshots right from AkrutoSync to make support’s life easier. To take a screenshot, the small icon in the top left corner of the AkrutoSync window (or press Alt+Space). A menu will open; select “Take screenshot”. You will be offered to select a file name and location for the screenshot file. The default location for the screenshot file is on the desktop and the default file name is AkrutoSync Screenshot.png.

We will wait for your response.

    Regards,

    Alfredo Delola
