If you have calendars in Gmail or iCloud, you can import them as an iCalendar (.ical) file into Outlook on your computer, so that you can use your contacts locally and synchronize them with your smartphone using Akruto Sync.
The following steps describe how to import .ics files to Microsoft Outlook.
1) Open Outlook and click File -> Open & Export -> Import/Export.
2) Select Import an iCal (.ics) or vCalendar (.vcs) and click Next.
3) Browse to the location of the iCal (.ics) file that you want to import into Outlook, select it, and click OK.
4) A dialog box will appear. Click the Import button to to actually import the data to your calendar (or click the Open as new button if you want Outlook to create a new calendar folder to store your imported calendar appointments).
Your calendar file has now been imported into Outlook. You can use AkrutoSync to keep your data synced between Outlook, your Windows phone, Android phone, and iPhone.
