Syncing Outlook tasks and notes with Huawei P10 – which apps to use?

Aside from contacts and calendars, managing tasks and notes can be complicated. This is because some Android smartphones have no pre-installed apps for syncing with Outlook notes or tasks. This can be resolved by installing one of two following apps:

  1. TouchDown app – a nice application for managing tasks and notes that supports working with Exchange server.
  2. Tasks and Notes for MS Exchange – free app that allows working with notes and tasks, and is capable of syncing with Exchange.

Both apps are supported by AkrutoSync. Installing either application will enable your phone to work with Outlook notes and tasks. After the initial setup, any changes made on any of your connected devices (PC or smartphone) will be automatically synced with all other connected devices.

Also, AkrutoSync is based on Exchange ActiveSync technology, meaning none of your data can ever be corrupted or duplicated. In short, AkrutoSync’s capabilities far outweigh the software’s native functionality, enabling you to sync everything — contact pictures, contact notes, and even past calendar events.

Up to now there were no problems for syncronisation between Windows PC and Windows Phone (Nokia Lumia 635) by Akrutosync. Now I have a new Phone with Android (Huawei P10) and i have problems creating the necessary account in my phone.
When I add the account under Microsoft Exchange in my phone, there is a notice that Cetrificate is not from a trusted authority. There is no possibility and no button to continue.

Hello Gerhard. Sounds like you are a long-time AkrutoSync user. Thank you for your loyal support. You can either install the certificate, or change security type from “SSL/TLS” to “SSL/TLS (accept all certificates)”.
