FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Akruto, Inc. Press Release

Newton, Mass. – January 20, 2015 – Microsoft has released Microsoft Lumia 535 Windows Phone, its first Lumia phone since buying Nokia Lumia phones. When the Microsoft Lumia comes out of the box, the phone doesn’t work with Outlook on home computers.

“Considering Outlook comes from Microsoft, people are understandably surprised when they learn they can’t sync their computer’s Outlook calendar and contacts to their Windows Phone,” says George Tatar, founder and CEO of Akruto, Inc. “Windows Phones are made to work with Outlook365, which stores information in the cloud. Many people hesitate to do that because they want to protect their privacy.”

AkrutoSync is Windows® PC software that automatically, reliably, completely and privately syncs Outlook PC with unlimited connected devices. It can sync Windows Phones with Outlook by transferring all the data from Outlook Contacts, Calendars, Tasks and Notes between computer and phone.

Akruto syncs Outlook information with the Microsoft Lumia’s built-in Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Notes apps. After users follow the software’s step-by-step instructions to install it, they don’t have to do anything. Once installed, all contacts and appointments appear in all connected devices and the computer running Outlook.

“A lot of frustrated users have posted in online forums asking how to sync their computers with their phones. Many of the workarounds and other software don’t work, or they only sync the information partially,” Tatar says. “Akruto has a sync history feature, which offers an extra measure to ensure no information disappears even if the user accidentally deleted it. Akruto’s strength is in its ability to reliably and completely transfer everything, long notes too.”

To sync Outlook with Microsoft Lumia 535 and other phones, users can download a full seven-day trial of AkrutoSync from https://www.akruto.com/get-akruto-sync/. Tech support is available 24/7 for everyone. The licensed version, available for $29.95 through Jan. 31, 2015, supports a single PC and unlimited use with Android devices and tablets, Windows Phones, iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
