How do I get paid?
We pay through PayPal. That’s why you don’t need to send us your mailing address or other personal information. To get paid, you’ll just need a PayPal account.
By the way, you don’t have use your PayPal address to sign up with us. Your PayPal and affiliate email addresses can be different. We’ll send the payment to the address we have, and you’ll still be able to accept it through your PayPal account.
When do I get paid?
It’s important that you get paid promptly. Some affiliate programs only pay once a quarter or when you’ve reached a minimum. We pay every month regardless of how much you’ve earned.
You get paid at the beginning of the month for all referrals in the prior two to six weeks. For example, sales made March 15 through April 15 are paid on May 1.
We pay once a month to minimize the fees PayPal charges for processing. Please see the next question for more details.
What are the PayPal transaction fees?
When we pay affiliate commissions, PayPal charges a fee to you. PayPal charges the fee on a per-transaction basis and takes a percentage. We minimize per-transaction fees by paying affiliates monthly.
If you make five referrals in one month and we pay you separately for each one, PayPal would take five transaction fees plus a percentage of the total. By paying you once a month, you keep the transaction fees instead of PayPal.
How long after following my link must someone purchase an Akruto license for me to get the sale?
The purchase must be made within one month after following your affiliate link. We want your connections to have a chance to try the software before they buy.
It’s also important to note that a purchase won’t be credited to you if the purchase is made from a different computer or browser than the one used to follow the affiliate link. A purchase won’t be credited if the buyer deletes cookies between following the link and making the purchase. This is a technology limitation, not a program limitation.
The dashboard shows visits, leads and purchases. What does each one mean?
- Visit: Someone who landed on our website using your affiliate link.
- Lead: This field isn’t active.
- Purchase: When a lead buys an Akruto license through your affiliate link.
