GuestHello, I have been a very happy user of AkrutoSync for several years and currently am Windows 10 PC and Windows 8 phone, Outlook 2016 (Office 365).
I am thinking of upgrading to either Windows 10 phone or Android 7.0 Nougat phone. My current version of AkrutoSync is 5.1.22.
Do you support either phone version? Is my current version of your software support both. Do I use your software and install new phone like for the first time? Thanks for delivering a great product.
ModeratorHi Bill,
Thank you for choosing AkrutoSync.
Yes, Akruto works with the latest Windows mobile 10 and Android 7.0 Nougat.
You can set up the sync to work with as many devices as you want. To do so, please follow these instructions:
To replace your current device, make sure your Outlook has the latest contacts, calendars tasks and notes then click Configure AkrutoSync and select the Configure again option. Ignore the warning about hard-resetting your device (because you are not adding the same device again). Follow on-screen instructions to add your new device. When asked to create a user name and a password, specify a new username and password that you noted above. Follow the on screen instruction to sync your new device..

GuestHave been running Akrutosync flawlessly under Windows 10 and Android 6.0. Upgraded the Galaxy 6 to Nougat 7.0 May 2017. Calendar syncs but Contacts nothing at all happens. No time even appears under “Started”. Do I need to delete everything and start a whole new account? I’m worried of not even getting the Calendar back. Thank you.

GuestI am having the exact same issue. iPhone worked fine with AkrutoSync. Today I switched to the BlackBerry Keyone, and am trying to sync and only the Calendar entries are sent. I have deleted and reinstalled the software 10+ times each while clearing the PC Registry, and still the software keeps the sync history somehow. I’ve even tried to change and reconfigure 5+ times without any luck. How is this even possible? Very disappointed in it.

GuestI tried syncing my Huawei Honor 8 and it worked fine. If you need to compare specs with yours here is a link to help https://www.findpare.com/smartphone/huawei-honor-8-al00-4gb-32gb
ModeratorHi Robert and Navid,
Thank you for using AkrutoSync.
On your phone, go to “Settings”, then “accounts”, then “Microsoft Exchange” or “Corporate”. Touch the account you created for AkrutoSync. Tap on the 3 vertical dots- > Touch “sync now”.
Does it show “Last Sync (Date/Time)” or does it show you “Sync is experiencing a problem”?
If it is displaying “Sync is experiencing a problem”, The error message you are getting is an app permission error. A setting on your phone is preventing the sync to start. This error message appears on M Exchange account.
Follow the steps below to fix this issue :
1. Tap on Settings
2. Tap on Apps
3. Tap on the 3 vertical dots
4. Tap on App Permissions
Note: (If you are using a different phone brand I suggest using the “Search button right after you tap on Settings” and look for “App Permission”
Note2: You can also go to settings > applications and then app permissions is available via the three dots at the top right.
5. Tap on Calendar
6. Tap on “Gmail” to turn it ON. The reason why this needs to be turned ON is the exchange account is part of the “Gmail” application. This DOES NOT mean that it will sync via cloud since your server address contains your LOCAL PC Address so it syncs directly with Akruto.
7. Tap on Back and then tap on Contacts
8. Tap on Gmail to turn it ON.
9. Once done, Please force a sync by going to Settings -> Accounts -> Exchange -> More -> Force Sync. The status in Akruto should now change from NONE to IN PROGRESS then SUCCESS.If you have further questions and concerns, Please feel free to contact us at https://www.akruto.com/contact-us/
