Update won’t install

    I’ve used AkrutoSync for YEARS. when I try to download and install the new update, I get a windows message:

    “…cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item”

    This is Windows 10/Desktop. I’m the admin and only user. I’ve tried to run as admin or not and message still remains. ANy ideas?

    Hi Marlene,

    Thank you for choosing AkrutoSync,

    This usually happens if you have an anti-virus program that blocks any installation on the selected Path. Please turn off your antivirus program first and then try to install AkrutoSync again.
