Sync Your HTC Desire 600 with Outlook Using AkrutoSyncwebdev
Now that you have a brand-new HTC Desire 600 Android Phone in your hands, your first goal would be to establish seamless connectivity with the tools you use in your office, such as Microsoft Outlook. AkrutoSync will help you to directly synchronize the data from Outlook without the need to create an online account. Even better, there is no limit on the amount of Outlook Contacts, Calendar, and Tasks entries you can sync with your phone. You can also sync contact images, numbers, email addresses, and more.
Here’s a step-by-step guide for how to sync your HTC Desire 600 with Outlook using AkrutoSync. Please note that this is a onetime process. Once you’re done, your phone will continue to sync directly with AkrutoSync.
Step 1: Go to http://www.akruto.com/get-akruto-sync/and download a 7-day free trial. (Note: Make sure that your system and HTC Desire 600 are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.)
Step 2: Install the downloaded file. When AkrutoSync opens, click on the “Configure AkrutoSync” link and choose the network on which you want to sync your device. (You can choose to sync via your home network or over the Internet.)
Step 3: On your HTC Desire 600 open a web browser, go to the given link on AkrutoSync, and follow the procedure to install AkrutoSync on your phone.
Step 4: The web browser on your Android phone should load a web page explaining that AkrutoSync uses SSL to secure communication between your phone and your computer. At the bottom of the web page, you will see a link to import the SSL certificate to your phone.
Step 5: AkrutoSync will ask you to choose credentials for your Android Phone to connect to your computer.
Step 6: On your phone, tap “settings,” then “Accounts & sync,” then “add an account.”
Step 7: On your HTC Desire 600, enter the email address shown on the AkrutoSync screen and the password you have selected earlier. After a few seconds, your HTC Desire 600 should start syncing and AkrutoSync will display sync progress.
