Microsoft Surface 2 Gets Wireless Capability
Today Microsoft released a version of its Surface 2 tablet with 4G wireless capability. In the US the tablet will work on the AT&T LTE network.
The tablet runs the Windows RT operating system and comes with Outlook 2013 and other office apps preinstalled.
The hardware specs include a quad-core Tegra chip from Nvidia, 2 GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The screen is 10.6 inch with 1920 x 1080 resolution and 5-point touch input.
Surface 2 LTE is available through Microsoft stores and Best Buy for USD $679. Oddly, AT&T wireless website does not mention the new tablet. When we asked about the tablet in our local AT&T Wireless store they did not have any, but said that they could activate one if we bought one in.
