GuestI just read the AkrutoSync 4.0 User Guide and am concerned.
1.) When the product is touted as not using the cloud, do you simply mean that data is not at rest (stored) in the cloud?
2.) In the setup of the software, the DDNS doesn’t bother me, but help me understand the port forwarding requirements. Port 443 is SSL which is heavily in use at our facility. We cannot port forward it to a single desktop. Furthermore, how would this work if you had 2 Priv users in the same company. Maybe I’m not following the instructions well –hoping for a better solution than port forwarding.
3.) Is the data encrypted in transmission? I don’t see that referenced and it is important to us.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

GuestSorry, didn’t give all the details. We do not have an Exchange server (or any mail server) onsite. We are using an outside ISP for our mail. Contacts, calendars, tasks and notes are simply running solo on the individual’s Outlook 2010 on Windows 7.
