Hi, I just installed your trial version and I’ve been happily syncing contacts, calendar and tasks from Outlook to my phone and vice versa. However, I can’t seem to find a way to make my notes in Outlook sync to the phone.

Please advise. Thank you.

Hi Aleksander,

Thank you for your interest in AkrutoSync. We’re glad to know that you are happily syncing your Outlook contacts and calendar through AkrutoSync to your Samsung Galaxy S7.

For notes, Samsung has a notes app with a lot of features, but unfortunately, it does not sync with Exchange. Which is why to sync notes, you will need to install an app on your phone that supports Notes sync through Exchange. We have a list of apps for that purpose here: https://www.akruto.com/synchronize-outlook-apps/

For Android, we usually recommend Tasks and Notes for MS Exchange, which is also on the list linked above.

Let us know how this works for you. Please feel free to contact us if you need any assistance.

That did the trick! I’ll be configuring my Samsung tablet (which runs on Android) to sync as well. Great support. Thanks again.

Hi Romario,

You can download the Tasks and Notes for MS Exchange app from the Google Play Store. Open the Play Store app on your Android Device, and type “Tasks and Notes for MS Exchange” into the search bar. Once the results are shown, tap on the app developed by UniqTec Inc.

Alternatively, you can click on the link below to view the app on the Google Play store:

I’ve installed the Task and Notes for MS Exchange. “Notes” now shows up on my AkrutoSync but where do I find my notes on my Samsung 7 Edge?

I switched from Ativ-s to A50 and i find no supported Android App for Notes. The provided link shows a newer app, and there seems to be no support vor active sync notes. Can you help?
Best would be “basic Notes” for Android 😉

greetings, Andy

Hello Andy,

You can try to install a 3rd party app called “Tasks & Notes for Office365 and Google Tasks” from the Google Playstore. It is developed by UniqTec Inc.

Follow the steps below on how to set it up for your phone:

Open the app, go to settings, then manage accounts, then add an account. Enter the following account settings
Email address: as displayed in AkrutoSync window
Account Type: Exchange
Password: the password you created when you set up AkrutoSync
Server: as displayed in AkrutoSync window
Domain: Leave blank
Use SSL: YES
Port: 443
Trust all SSL Certificates: May need to set to YES if you did not import the certificate

I hope this helps.
