GuestHello. I’m using Outlook 2013 and have set up Akrutosync today. I’ve been able to sync from Outlook to my phone (Samsung Galaxy S7) correctly. However, if I delete an Outlook calendar event, the event is not deleted on my phone’s calendar. Can you help to solve this?

GuestHello again. After waiting about ten minutes, the events have now been deleted from my phone’s calendar.
I noticed that when I added the two events I’m referring to, they sync’d from Outlook to my phone very quickly; within just a few seconds.
Is it normal that when you delete events from Outlook’s calendar that it takes more time for that to be sync’d to the phone?
ModeratorHello David,
For automatic syncing, the sync is initiated by the phone which looks for new data every 15-35 minutes, this is the set sync interval. There is not a real way to tweak this setting. If AkrutoSync is open and the phone is still connected to the WiFi, the sync will eventually push the changes. You will need to have AkrutoSync running for a sync to occur. It will also work with the AkrutoSync window minimized.
When you make changes or additions to the data in Outlook and want an immediate sync to happen, the solution is to force a sync from the phone.
How to force a sync: https://www.akruto.com/f-a-q/#q_force_sync
The reason for this is because when you make those changes in Outlook, neither AkrutoSync, nor the phone are aware that changes have been made. Only when the phone looks for changes will it see that there are new entries to be synced.
