Global Address List?

I had to re-install Akrutosync due to a Microsoft Office Pro Plus issue. After re-installing all my contacts, notes, etc. re-synced (via WiFi) with my iPhone 13 but when I look at Lists, there is a section called Global Account List which contains 1 entry (“My Card”).

An internet search of this item yields the following:
“The global address list (GAL) is a directory of contact information for every user in an organization. It typically includes names, email addresses, and phone numbers”.

I have searched the user manual and read it cover to cover but there is no mention of the Global Address List.

Is the GAL meant to be a list of all users of this Akruto Exchange account of a list of all contacts sorted by company?

I suspect that it is the former (since I am the only user of the account) but it sure would be nice if it was the latter so that we could see all contacts in any given company of our contacts!

Please clarify (and perhaps indicate why the item is not mentioned in the user manual). Thank you very much for a reply at your convenience.
