    We have been receiving inquiries asking us on how to force a sync on a Windows mobile 10. You may follow the procedures below

    1. On the Windows 10 Mobile phone, tap Contacts
    2. Tap the three dots …
    3. Tap Settings
    4. Tap and hold the Akruto account
    5. Tap Sync

    Is there any way that we can pin a shortcut to the Akruto account on WM10 home screen so that the we don’t need to first open Contacts? This could be done in WM8 as I recall but can’t see how we can do in WM10.

    Hi,
    Still trying to force a sync.
    Latest update of Windows Phone 10 doesn’t seem to have a section called ‘contacts’ – I can find ‘People’ or in the phone section there is the contacts icon – if I tap that I get a list of all contacts and tapping the 3 dots here just gives me a ‘X Cancel’ option.
    If I go to the ‘People’ list the heading is Contacts – but again tapping the 3 dots just gives me ‘+ New’ and ‘Select’ options.

    On WM10 it is people now, not contacts, as you found. When you tap the 3 dots, in a line just above the NEW and SELECT should be SETTINGS (on the left) then the rest work OK, I’ve just done it (hence reason for finding this forum)

    To Akruto, as Mike mentioned, under WP8 the home screen tile was excellent to use to sync, and now, every time I want to, I have to keep coming back here to find out again how to do it.
    Also, the FAQ help suggestion does not work. I guess that it is set up for WP8. Maybe this can be noted and this WM10 method also added.

    Anthony, thank you – that helped lots and worked fine. I agree with your suggestion about updating the FAQ to WM10 so we don’t have to hunt down the forum each time (getting old! hehehe). Cheers John

    I think it would be smart to publish this answer in the regular FAQ. For Windows 10 phone users, wrong directions are given.

    I tried these directions by going to “people: and hitting the 3 dots. However when I got to the account the messge said “attention required” when I hit it it gave an error code of 0x80072efd. Can you help me?
