GuestI changed from a mobile WiFi connection to the mobile data mobile hotspot on my win10 phone Lumia 550. Now I have problems with akruto sync. Is sync supported with mobile hotspot?
If I try to sync over the internet, when I enter the Internet address in the browser provided by akruto I get a message that I need an app to do this, but I don’t know what app?
Any help?
Thanks and regards, BrunoModeratorHi Bruno,
Thank you for choosing AkrutoSync,
There are some phones that will let your PC and Phone be on the same network via the Hotspot however some phones will not work. in this case your phone does not support this.
Alternatively, If you change locations a lot, we recommend getting a travel router like http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007PTCFFW/ so that you can have the same Wi-Fi network whenever you are. You will not be able to connect to the Internet over this network. Instead you would connect both your phone and laptop to this Wi-Fi router and sync. Using the Sync over Home Network Method.

GuestHi Brian
thank you for the quick response. I live in Australia and we only have mobile connection. I was always using a mobile route from TELSTRA, our main Telco. Because they offer better deals now with data over the phone connection, I stopped using the router, its cheaper for me.
Because the sync is really important for me I activated the router again. On the Lumia 550 I only have this EDGE browser and it seems not possible to load the SSL certificate, it tells me to use an app from the store but I think this is what they do for all errors with the browser, I cannot find an app, there is only one available called certificates, but it only shows you what is installed, not possible to load a certificate. I tried another browser called “ikognito”, there are not many around. It goes as far as to download the certificate and akruto changes screen and seems to realize that I have downloaded the certificate, BUT the browser get stuck and never shows me the certificate to properly accept and install it.
Andy idea, it seems to me that Microsoft changed that security stuff?

GuestHi Brian
I just solved the problem, when I wanted to access the certificate I did not type the http:// but just the numbers. I had in mind that it adds the http: automatic. I could now download the certificate and the contacts and calender, even with the hotspot connection. I had a lot of problems with the phone regarding downloading of software, but that’s another story.
Thanks and regards, Bruno -
