GuestAkurtoSync automatically starts when Windows 10 starts but then I have to minimize it to clear my desktop. How do I make AkurtoSynce start minimised to the task bar??
ModeratorHi Kev,
The ‘Minimize-to-Tray’ option is near the top of our to-do list for AkrutoSync. In the meantime, there are some good software out there that could minimize the AkrutoSync window for you to the system tray. Here are two we would recommend:
1. RBTray – Download page here: http://rbtray.sourceforge.net/
Right click on any program’s minimize button to minimize it to the tray. To restore, single-click the program’s icon in the tray. It’s Only 200kb, free and Open-source. To start every boot, create a shortcut to RBTray.exe in your Start menu’s Startup group.2. TrayIt –

Official Download page: http://winaero.com/download.php?view.87If you are not satisfied with any of the two, there are many tools (both free and commercial) that will allow you do this. Use your favorite search engine to search for “Minimize to Tray”.

GuestThat’s for the quick feedback! I will try one of those.

GuestAny idea when this feature will be added? It is important (to me at least) that it should be possible to specify that the app can be made to START minimized to tray. I’d like Akruto to act a background process – it should just get on with its task without shoving a UI in my face.

Guest*I also would like Akruto sync to run minimised automatically. Perhaps a command-line option might be available? Win7/64

GuestI agree, the present way AkrutoSync is started is very irritating! I have chosen “Start minimized” in my Autostart, but it shows up on my desktop every start, and only when I click X it minimizes (to tray!, thank you for that feature) but only after one more click OK to know I can find it in the tray. Please …!
