GuestHi,
By mistake I deleted from my phone the account used to synchronize locally with Outlook. Thereby I lost all synchronized calendar events and contacts on the phone but, of course, they are still present in Outlook.
I setup up a new account using the same configuration. It allows me to synchronize new or changed items but it will not synchronize old contacts and events that have not been changed. In particular the missing contacts and upcoming events is a problem on the phone. I managed to get upcoming events over by adding a flag to all of them in Outlook.
How can I make Akruto sync all my contacts from Outlook to the phone without having to perform some minor edit on each of them?
ModeratorHello Karl,
Thank you for your message and we are sorry that you are experiencing this problem.
Please open AkrutoSync on your computer and click on “Select what to Sync”. Check if you have selected the correct folders to sync. If the folders are correct, please take a screenshot of “Select what to Sync” panel, AkrutoSync main window, and the Contacts/Calendar panel on your Outlook then send it via email to support@akruto.com for further troubleshooting.
Regards,
Raphael

GuestThank you.
I solved the problem by going into the Contacts list view in Outlook and add a category to all contacts, and then remove it again. After that Akruto synchronized all contacts as desired.
The original problem was an error in the Outlook profile. It stopped working and I had to create a new one. That lead to a chain of events including my unintended deletion of the account on the phone. None of this can be blamed on Akruto. I just want to encourage you add an option to temporarily disable the filter that limits synchronization to items having been changed since last sync. It is rarely needed, but as you can see, it does happen.
Have used Akruto for many years and really appreciate this tool 🙂
