GuestThis issue is happening with 2 phones, Moto Z Play Droid and Moto Z Force. Notification is displayed from Gmail “Update your Exchange account”. Click on message. Says “Can’t add account – Gmail’s security settings are more secure than those set by your IT admin. Contact your IT admin for help.” with option to remove account or close. When go to account to try to force a sync there is a message that “Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly.”
Both phones were setup to sync using AkrutoSync DNS over home internet. Version 5.2.38 and 5.2.40
The Moto Z Play just stopped working today. The Moto Z Force stopped near the end of Oct. Tried deleting account on this phone and recreating. Sets up ok, but cannot sync.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
This issue that you are experiencing is coming from the latest Gmail update on your phone. We assume that you are using “M Exchange” (Red envelope logo) for the AkrutoSync Exchange account on your phone. This type of Exchange account is Gmail Exchange.
Disclaimer: Even if the AkrutoSync Exchange account is created through Gmail Exchange, AkrutoSync will never sync your data to Google servers/cloud. The sync is configured directly from the Outlook to your phone and vice versa which is the main purpose of AkrutoSync.
Kindly send an email to support@akruto.com and let us know the exact make and model of your phone. If possible, please also provide a screenshot of the current AkrutoSync window on your computer. This will greatly help us troubleshoot the issue that you are experiencing.

GuestI have the same problem as #29170.
Solved it by uninstalling updates in Gmail-app.
A better solution would be to use another Exchange app.
Maybe akruto kan make there own app for communication with computer/outlook.Regards

ich habe aktuell in Akruto die Fehlermeldung “Sync Stopped. Please open Gmail aüü on your phone and update as shown below.”
Leider habe ich keine Möglichkeit auf meine xiaomi Redmi Note 12 in GMail ein derart beschriebenes “Update” druchzuführen.
Auch funktioniert eine Synchronisierung des Kalenders nicht mehr.
