GuestI am considering to buy Akrutosync app.
Now I am using Outlook (Office 2016) but in near future I have to upgrade it to Office 365.
Does Akurotosync work with Office 365?

Thank you for the information below. This is the process of how AkrutoSync works: It is installed on a computer running on Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10 with Outlook 2003/2007/2010/2013/2016/Office 365 with Outlook 2013 or 2016.
The root source of its data is the PST or OST file of a POP3 or IMAP email account from Outlook. It can sync Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Notes (it depends which type/s you sync) to Android phones/tablets, Windows mobile phones/tablets, and iOS devices (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch).
Any entry in your phone for Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Notes (it depends which type/s you sync) that are not in Outlook on the computer WILL NOT SYNC thru AkrutoSync since the root source is Outlook’s Data file on the computer.
For Calendar and Contacts – you can manually transfer them from the phone to your computer and import it to Outlook on that computer using NON-AkrutoSync tools. Here is the guide: https://www.akruto.com/backup-phone-contacts-calendar/
For Tasks and Notes – we do not have an official guide on how to manually transfer them to Outlook in your computer from the phone. You can check online for other tools that can do that.
Once Outlook on the computer is current (updated and complete) for Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Notes (it depends which type/s you sync) – that is the time we recommend you delete all entries for Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Notes (it depends which type/s you sync) on the phone and finish the configuration of AkrutoSync in your computer in order for the initial sync to occur.
Sync from phone to Outlook on your computer via AkrutoSync WILL ONLY OCCUR after the initial sync from Outlook on your computer to your phone. Entries that will sync from the phone ARE new entries (linked with the Exchange account that was added one phone as per AkrutoSync’s configuration wizard OR modified/edited/deleted entries that were originally synced from Outlook on your computer for Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Notes (it depends on which type/s you sync).

GuestDoes this mean as office 365 does not store data locally that the sync will not function as it does with a local copy of outlook installed?

The Outlook that is included in your Office 365 subscription stores data locally to the PST/OST file on your computer. As long as the data can be detected by Outlook installed on your computer, it will work with AkrutoSync.

GuestI have Akruto Sync and Outlook 365. I cannot sync my contacts on my iphone!!!!!

We are sorry that you are experiencing problems.
Please click “Select what to Sync” in AkrutoSync window on your computer and make sure that you selected the correct folder to sync for contacts then click save.
If the correct contact folder is already selected, please make sure that the contacts that you are adding on your iPhone is saved under the Exchange account. The phone can have many accounts such as Google, iCloud or others. When you add something from the phone, you need to make sure you are saving it to the AkrutoSync account. Only items saved under the AkrutoSync account can sync back into Outlook. To do this, please follow these steps:
1. Open Settings on your phone.
2. Go to “Contacts”.
3. Please change the “Default Account” to Exchange.
4. Try to enter a test contact on your phone and check if it will sync to your Outlook.I hope this helps.

GuestI have Outlook in Office 365. I believe Akruto is causing Outlook to TSR (Terminate and Stay Resident) regularly. I’ll close Outlook and sometime later try to start it again from a desktop shortcut and it will just spin the “circle of boredom”. I have to open Task Manager and end Outlook before it will open again. Is there a fix for that?
