I have multiple contact folders and multiple calendars. Can Akruto sync them all to my devices? How do I do that? The setup profile only allowed the choice of one file of each type.

    HI Judith,

    Thank you for choosing AkrutoSync.

At this time AkrutoSync can synchronize only one folder of each type. We are always working to improve AkrutoSync. I cannot say that this will be on the next update but we do appreciate the suggestions. Please feel free to email us again if you require further assistance.

A year later and still can’t sync multiple contact folders. This would be a very useful feature, as many of us categorize our contacts by folder (by department, by profession, etc.) rather than one big contact list.

Syncing multiple calendars (etc.) should really be a focus of an upcoming update for Akrutosync. I think you would be surprised at how many people need a function like this. It would help take Akrutosync to the next level.

I agree, I have older contacts that are rarely used in a separate contacts folder than the ones I use more regularly. It would be nice to be able to pull them all over to my phone and use the phones “filter” features to only view the ones I want. This would be a very nice feature and could influence future purchases.

    Hi,

As a workaround, it is possible to sync multiple contact folders (as well as multiple calendars, etc…) by running several copies of AkrutoSync on the same PC. Only one license is required, since you are running on the same PC, but the setup is a bit involved. Contact us for details if you’d like to do this.

I would also like instructions for running multiple instances to allow my phone and my wife’s phone to sync to different Outlook contact folders.

    Thanks, Brian

I received a couple of e-mails from support explaining how to run a second instance by logging on as a different user. Unfortunately, this didn’t work for me because I need both instances to use the same Outlook data files. For my situation, having a command-line parameter to specify an alternate configuration folder would do the job.

    Thanks, Brian

    Hi,

I have 3 contact folders (or subfolders) in my Outlook365 for Windows PC. How do I choose the particular contact folder I want to sync with my iphone? I do not want to sync all the contact folders with my phone.

If this is too long to explain, please send me the document or screenshots on how to select one particular contact folder out of many folders to sync.

    Hello James,

To select the correct folder to sync, please open AkrutoSync then click “Select what to Sync” at the left panel and choose the Contacts folder that you want to sync then click Save.
