GuestWhen using Blackberry Priv (Android 6.x.x), as there is no way to create Microsoft Exchange accounts: when entering the “e-mail-address” the butto “next” remains inactive as the IP address of the PC is not a valid domain name. Workaround I found: add .something, and you can continue with the installation; remove .something in the next step of the setup.

GuestTried the workaround on the BB Dtek50, Android 6.0. setup form accepted it up to the point of trying to connect to server and returned “couldn’t open connection to server”. Thoughts?

GuestI have the same problem. I get as far as the “incoming server settings” page, but when I click next, it attempts to validate but fails with “couldn’t open connection to server.” I’m using a Priv running Android 5.1.1.

GuestUsing BB Priv, I see no need for a work around. Go to accounts, right to the end of list to “+ add account”. Move down to “Exchange”, click here and enter email address and move to manual setup. Select “exchange” as account type and then enter all details as requested.
