How to Sync Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with OutlookSupport
Before showing you how to sync Outlook with Android like the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, we highlight the features that make this phabulous phablet different. You’ll also learn about the most important things you want to know about this new Android phone.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 highlights
Since its release in October 2014 (November 2014 for the U.K. and India), reviewers have been raving about the Galaxy Note 4 in reviews. “It’s an excellent phone inside and out, the first Note that combines design, power, and performance in one package,” writes The Verge’s Samsung Galaxy Note 4 review. “Samsung knows how to take advantage of a large screen — even more so than Apple — and with a pen and some software tweaks and a ridiculous number of pixels, it does just that.”
Engadget also gushes over the Note 4. “Not only is the Note 4 the best Samsung smartphone I’ve ever used, but it’s also the best large-screen phone on the market — even better than the iPhone 6 Plus.”
There are two versions of the Note 4:
- One powered by a 2.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 chipset with Adreno 420 GPU. If you work with a lot of multimedia and gaming, you’ll prefer this one because of its higher graphics capabilities.
- One powered by Samsung’s Exynos 7 Octa, which has two sets of quad ARM cores with CPU loads alternating between the two. This one is the bigger performer of the two. So if you want power and fast, this is the one to get.
Both come with 32 GB built-in storage. You can remove the back of the phone to access the MicroSD card, Micro SIM and removable battery. Should 32 GB storage not be enough, you can insert a 128 GB MicroSD card into the phone.
Both come with Android KitKat 4.4.4, which will be upgradeable to Android Lollipop 5.0.
Like its name, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has four color choices:
- Blossom pink.
- Bronze gold.
- Charcoal black.
- Frosted white.

How is the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 better?
As with all new phones, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has notable improvements over its predecessors. With more phones being built with plastic to save on costs, the Note 4 takes a different route. It’s made out of aluminum and magnesium. This improves rigidity and gives the phone a better feel than plastic does. One downside is that metal can scratch more easily than plastic. However, most of us opt for a case when we buy a phone. So the feel may not be important.
The Note 4’s battery includes Samsung’s Adaptive Fast Charging and Qualcomm’s Quick Charge technology. Samsung says the Note 4 can charge up to 50 percent in 30 minutes with the right charger. (Most likely Samsung’s proprietary charger.)
Many people operate a phone with one hand. Despite being a smidge narrower than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, it can be challenging to operate the Note 4 — with its 5.7-inch display and 75 percent screen-to-body ratio — with one hand.
To help you navigate with one hand, use the “one-handed operation” setting to turn on features to shrink the entire screen and be able to slide the keyboard and lock screen from one side to the other. Another feature you can turn on is “side key panel” to access the Home, Back and Recent buttons on the side of the phone.
Its 16 MP high-resolution camera can record videos in 4K resolution. The Note 4 comes with optical image stabilization, which — as the name says — stabilizes the camera to cut motion blur especially in low light environments. So it’ll come in handy when you take pictures while moving around.
A cool new camera feature is the ability to take panorama selfies. Now you can include yourself in a wide-angle shot of yourself. The camera stitches the pictures together to create a smooth, wide photo.
Some people miss the old days of Palm OS devices when it came with a stylus. Those who miss it can rejoice as the Note 4 comes with the S Pen stylus. It’s now ribbed for easier gripping. The software that works with the pen has been improved in design and usability. Because of all these features and improvements, the price tag is higher than some of its competitors.
Samsung Kies Alternative

You can sync your Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with Samsung Kies that comes included, but here free comes with a price. However, Kies has many problems that cause people to search for a Samsung Kies alternative.
