Set up Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phone to sync with AkrutoSync

Start AkrutoSync program on your PC and click “Configure AkrutoSync”. AkrutoSync will guide you through the configuration process. When prompted to create an Exchange ActiveSync account on your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phone do the following.

1) Touch the “Apps” icon to see the full list of apps on your phone.

2) Select “Settings” from the app list. Note that the app list may span several screens and that the “Settings” icon may not be on the first screen.

3) Touch “General”, then “Accounts”.

4) Touch “Add account”.

5) Touch “Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync”.

6) Enter the email address shown in AkrutoSync window on your PC and the password that you chose in AkrutoSync. Do not use the email address shown in the screenshot below; it is just an example.

7) You may see the error shown below. This is normal. Scroll to the end of the screen to see the “Next” button. Tap “Next”. Then tap “Continue” as shown in the screenshots below.

8) You don’t need to change the default account options. Touch “Next”.

9) Give the new account a name and touch “Done”.

Congratulations! You have set up your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to automatically synchronize with Outlook using AkrutoSync. If you chose to sync over the Internet your phone will sync automatically whenever AkrutoSync window is open on your computer and your phone has a network connection. If your chose to sync over Wi-Fi, your phone will sync automatically, whenever both your phone and your laptop are within the range of your Wi-Fi network and AkrutoSync window is open on your computer.
