Hi Stewart,
Could you please email the following to [email protected]:
1. Your sync setup, is it (1) Sync over home network/Wi-Fi or (2) Sync over the Internet?2. The latest screenshot of AkrutoSync’s current screen from your computer
3. What is the make and model of your phone? If it is an Android, what is the Android version? If it is a Windows phone, what Windows version? If it is an iPhone or an iPad, what is the iOS version?
4. Are you using Outlook 2002/2003/2007/2010/2013/2016/Office 365 with Outlook 2013/2016 on a Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10 computer? Is it a desktop or a laptop? Wired directly to the router or connected via Wi-Fi?
If you are not familiar with ‘how to take a screenshot and attaching it to the email’, please use this guide:
1. Press the “Print Screen” key on your keyboard (also labeled as “Prt Sc” or “PrtScn”). This will capture an image of your entire screen.
Or you can Click on the AkrutoSync window then hold down the Alt button and press Prt Sc. This will take a picture of the “active” window on your screen. An image of the window will be copied to the clipboard. You will not receive any confirmation that the screenshot has been taken.2. Paste the screenshot. Once you have made the screenshot, you will need to paste it to an editor. Open Paint from the Accessories section in your Start menu or search Paint in Windows Search. With a new blank canvas open in Paint, press the Ctrl and V buttons together to paste the image onto the canvas. You can also right-click on the canvas and select Paste.
3. Save the screenshot. Click File, then Save to set the name and file type of the image. You can select the JPG or PNG file type. Select and remember the save location, then click Save.
4. Attach the screenshot that you saved as a reply to this email.

ModeratorHi German,
AkrutoSync does not work with Outlook Windows mobile app version. AkrutoSync will synchronize your contacts, calendar, tasks and notes between Outlook and your devices. It works on Android, Windows phones, and iOS devices (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch). From Outlook, it will sync to the native/pre-installed app for calendar and contacts. For tasks and notes, you need to install Basic Notes OR Viperal Tasks to view then on a Windows mobile phone. Any entry that you add on Outlook on a Windows phone will not sync to Outlook on the computer when using AkrutoSync.

in reply to: How to switch between syncing via Wi-Fi to syncing over the Internet?
ModeratorHi Rex,
We recommend Sync over the Internet if you are using a home or office computer that is connected to its network all the time or almost all the time and it is not being used to other locations. Most users who use this setup often travel and sync via the cellular/mobile data of their phone while the computer is online on the home/office network. You can use Sync over the Internet in other networks and/or locations if you have a laptop and you know the admin access to the router of that network. Usually, that is not possible for public Wi-Fi networks like in an airport or a hotel.
Will you still proceed with Sync over the Internet or keep on using Sync over home (or office) network?

ModeratorHi Daniel,
At this time AkrutoSync can synchronize only one folder of each type (one folder each for contacts, calendar, tasks and notes). As a workaround, since you use Outlook categories, you can use it instead of folders to organize your data in Outlook. Outlook categories are very powerful and let you accomplish everything you do with folders. We understand that this is only a workaround and we are working on synchronizing multiple folders.
AkrutoSync will synchronize your contacts, calendar, tasks and notes between Outlook and your devices. It works on Android, Windows phones, and iOS devices (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch). Is this your phone: http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_z3_dual-6632.php? If it is, that is compatible for AkrutoSync.

ModeratorHi Joseph,
Thank you for choosing AkrutoSync.
Correct. Akruto works with the Xiaomi Mi Pad. It will sync all calendar entries in the calendar folder you have chosen. You can try out the software and see if it works for you. You can download the 7-day free trial here:
https://www.akruto.com/get-akruto-sync/Regards,
Brian TanModeratorHi Rick,
We already have iPhone 7 customers. You can set up the sync to work with as many devices as you want. To do so, please follow these instructions:
To add another device, you need to know the username and password that you created for AkrutoSync. The user name is displayed in the AkrutoSync window. If you do not remember the password, click Configure AkrutoSync and select the Change password option. Once you know the username and password, click Configure AkrutoSync and select the Configure again option. Ignore the warning about hard-resetting your device (because you are not adding the same device again). Follow on-screen instructions to add your new device. When asked to create a user name and a password, specify the same username and password that you noted above.
Regards,
Brian TanModeratorHI Markus,
Thank you for choosing AkrutoSync.
Yes! Akruto syncs all contacts, calendars, tasks and notes on an iPad Pro since it has its own native apps for all categories. You can try out the software and see if it works for you. You can download the 7-day free trial here:

That is correct. The monthly subscription does not have any contract and you can cancel and resume subscription anytime.

Brian TanModeratorHI Leo,
For emails, I am sorry, but AkrutoSync does not synchronize email yet. It does not support email and will not sync them out of Outlook. This is because most phones already have the capability of syncing directly with the email provider. You may try to directly add your POP and IMAP email accounts in the accounts section of your phone so that you can directly sync your email from these accounts.
If you want to sync your contacts, tasks, calendar and notes from your email accounts in Outlook on the computer, then AkrutoSync can sync keep them in sync with your devices.
For notes, the only phone that includes a Notes app that can sync with Exchange ActiveSync AkrutoSync) is the iPhone. Therefore, to sync notes, (and if your phone does not have a built-in task app, to sync tasks) you will need to install an app on your phone.
We have a list of apps for that purpose here:
https://www.akruto.com/synchronize-outlook-apps/This app will sync tasks and notes on its own, not as part of the same “sync operation” as contacts and calendar, but everything will sync through AkrutoSync.
Let us know how this works for you. Please feel free to contact us if you need any assistance.

Yes, we had customers who has 20k+ calendar entries and a lot of contacts but was still able to sync these data to your phone.
