in reply to: Do I have to install security certificate on my Galaxy S7?
ModeratorHI Andrew,
Thank you for choosing AkrutoSync.
If you do not want to set your security to password, you may “Skip” installing the certificate. This is OK for Android phones however for iOS or Windows Phone the certificate is required to be installed.

Brian TanModeratorHi Airman,
Yes! You can do that using AkrutoSync. You just need to install the AkrutoSync program on your computer that has an Outlook program. Then add your Lumia 620 and Galaxy Tab. Every time you add, edit or delete any calendar, contact, task and note items on any of those devices, the AkrutoSync will sync it to the rest of the devices.
Hope this answers your question. Feel free to try it with the free trial version!

in reply to: Can I sync Outlook tasks with 3-rd party notes app on my iPhone?
ModeratorHI Fred,
Thank you for choosing AkrutoSync.
Akruto syncs directly to the native applications of your iPhone however there are 3rd party applications that can do better than the native apps. This should still work as long as the 3rd party application gets information from the native / stock apps and not connect to an online server.
We do not have any tested 3rd party apps yet for the iPhone that works better than the native stock apps.

To update the current server address on your Note 5
– Go to All Apps
– Tap on Email
– Tap on More -> Settings
– Tap on the AkrutoSync exchange account
– Scroll down and tap on Exchange Server Settings
– Update the password and the Exchange server with the password you just created and the server address displayed in Akrutoif your IP address changes frequently, you may want to configure your router to always give your computer the same address. To do this, point your web browser to your router, log in and look for an option called “DHCP reservation” or “Address reservation”. Note that this is not required in order to use AkrutoSync. Please send us an email at [email protected] so we can send you an attached general guide on how to do this.

Brian TanModeratorHi RD N,
I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.
We strive to give our users a quick and seamless sync solution, and the trouble you are having is not what we want our customers to have to experience.
May I know the type of sync you were able to setup with Akruto? Is it Sync over home network or Sync over the internet? Please let us know the make and model of your phone and if possible provide us a screenshot of your AkrutoSync main window.
You may also send your response to [email protected]

If you have Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Server) running on your computer, the open Control Panel -> Advanced -> Services, disable Internet Information Server and reboot the computer.
If you are using VmWare workstation, you can change the port number it uses in VmWare settings.
We will wait for your response

Brian TanModeratorHi Bruno,
Thank you for choosing AkrutoSync,
There are some phones that will let your PC and Phone be on the same network via the Hotspot however some phones will not work. in this case your phone does not support this.
Alternatively, If you change locations a lot, we recommend getting a travel router like http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007PTCFFW/ so that you can have the same Wi-Fi network whenever you are. You will not be able to connect to the Internet over this network. Instead you would connect both your phone and laptop to this Wi-Fi router and sync. Using the Sync over Home Network Method.
Regards,
Brian TanModeratorHi Stuart,
Thank you for choosing AkrutoSync.
The phone can have many accounts such as Google or others. When you add something from the phone, you need to make sure you are saving it to the AkrutoSync account. Only items saved under the AkrutoSync account can sync back into Outlook. To do this, when adding an appointment, please go through every field. One of them will give you the option to pick the account you want the event to be saved to, choose to save that appointment in the account you created for Akruto. Once you sync, you will then see the item in Outlook.
Let me know if it works.
