Hi Victor,
Thank you for your interest in AkrutoSync. AkrutoSync will synchronize your contacts, calendar, tasks and notes between Outlook and your devices. It works on Android, Windows phones, and iOS devices (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch). Your Note 7 is one of the compatible Android phones.
You must install and configure first AkrutoSync on the computer so that it can sync with your Note 7. After the initial sync is successful for the tasks, you need to install either Tasks & Notes for MS Exchange OR TouchDown on the phone in order to view the synced tasks. ModeratorHi Aiden,
AkrutoSync cannot backup your iPhone calendar on the initial sync. Akruto use a different process to transfer calendar entries from your iPhone to Outlook on your computer.
First, you must use iCloud to transfer the calendar data from the phone: https://www.akruto.com/backup-phone-contacts-calendar/export-icloud-calendar-as-ical/
Then import that file to your Outlook 2013: https://www.akruto.com/backup-phone-contacts-calendar/import-ical-ics-calendar-into-outlook-2013/The initial sync for AkrutoSync is from Outlook on the computer to the phone not the other way around.

If this is your phone: http://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_mi_max-8057.php? Since it is an Android, it is compatible for AkrutoSync. AkrutoSync will synchronize your contacts, calendar, tasks and notes between Outlook and your devices. It works on Android, Windows phones, and iOS devices (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch).
The synced calendar and contacts entries will sync to the native/pre-installed calendar and contacts app of your Xiaomi phone not on an Outlook Android mobile app.

ModeratorHi Richard,
Since you have 2 computers, if you install AkrutoSync on each computer, the 2 computer will not sync with each other via AkrutoSync.
If you have the same entries for calendar and contacts on each Outlook from the 2 computers, they can sync individually to the Lumia 520 but you will have 2 sets of synced data with the same entries on the phone.
NOTE: one computer with AkrutoSync will be counted as one license. It must be running on Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10 with Outlook 2002/2003/2007/2010/2013/2016/Office 365 with Outlook 2013 or 2016.If the second computer is a laptop, it can act as a mobile device like a Windows mobile phone but there is a specific setting for that. It must be running on Windows 8.1 or 10 and must have Outlook 2013 or 2016 (MS Office 2013 or 2016 or Office 365).

ModeratorHi Stephan,
If you will be bringing the iPhone only, the sync method that you will use is Sync over the Internet so that the phone can sync using its cellular data. The phone must get a 4G or LTE signal when using Sync over the Internet.
If you want to try the trial version, go to: https://www.akruto.com/get-akruto-sync/ (at the bottom of the page, you can find the link to download the trial version).
NOTE: the synced tasks can be view in the Reminder app of your iPhone. You can also email [email protected] for further details.

ModeratorHi Martin,
Is this your phone: http://www.gsm-specs.com/zte-blade-a510/? Since it is an Android, it can be synced with your Outlook 2010 from your computer. AkrutoSync will synchronize your contacts, calendar, tasks and notes between Outlook and your devices. It works on Android, Windows phones, and iOS devices (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch).
In order to sync via the Internet, the phone must be online using its cellular data with a 4G / LTE / 4G LTE signal.

ModeratorHi Richard,
The license is based on the active computer that you have installed AkrutoSync not on the number of mobile devices synced with that computer.

ModeratorHi Oliver,
If you configured AkrutoSync for Sync over home network (which also applies to office and public Wi-Fi networks), the only time the phone will sync with Outlook on the computer if the phone is connected via Wi-Fi to the same router.
If you configured AkrutoSync for Sync over the Internet, the phone will sync using its cellular/mobile data but it must be connected with a 4G / LTE / 4G LTE signal.
Automatic sync will occur for those two sync methods.

ModeratorHi Michael,
If this is your phone: http://www.gsmarena.com/lenovo_p780-5544.php – that is compatible with AkrutoSync. The email account on Outlook 2013 on your computer, if it is an IMAP or POP3 with a PST or OST data file, you can sync its contacts and notes thru AkrutoSync to your Lenovo P780.
However, upon checking on the phone’s specifications, this is a 3G phone not a 4G or LTE phone, it will not sync over the Internet but rather via Wi-Fi only. Sync over the Internet works with mobile devices that are 4G or LTE capable and can get a 4G / LTE signal in a location. For other Android sync topics on the forum, you may check: https://www.akruto.com/forum/android-devices/

ModeratorHi Victor,
You can sync the Tasks entries of your Outlook 2013 on your computer to your Nokia Lumia 710.
If want to test the trial version of AkrutoSync, you may download it from: https://www.akruto.com/get-akruto-sync/ (the link to the trial version is at the bottom of the page).
In configuring AkrutoSync for Sync over the Internet, please refer to this guide: https://www.akruto.com/user-guide/completing-akruto-sync-setup-to-sync-over-internet/
Your phone must have 4G / LTE / 4G LTE connection and its Wi-Fi must be off during the initial configuration of AkrutoSync.
To view the synced tasks on the phone, you need to install Viperal Tasks. Please refer to: https://www.akruto.com/synchronize-outlook-apps/ under the topic Viperal Tasks for details. You may also check other forum topics for Window mobile at: https://www.akruto.com/forum/windows-phone-outlook-syncing-problems/

ModeratorHi Adam,
For AkrutoSync, the sync method for that is Sync over the Internet wherein the phone syncs via cellular data. We recommend Sync over the Internet if you are using a home or office computer that is connected to its network all the time or almost all the time and it is not being used to other locations. Most users who use this setup often travel and sync via the cellular/mobile data of their phone while the computer is online on the home/office network. You can use Sync over the Internet in other networks and/or locations if you have a laptop and admin access to the router of that network. Usually, that is not possible for public Wi-Fi networks like in an airport or a hotel.
If you want further details, you may email us at [email protected]

in reply to: Transfer calendar between Outlook 2007, iPad mini and iPhone 5
ModeratorHi Daryl,
If the iPad mini and iPhone 5’s calendars have different entries vs the calendar in Outlook 2007 on the PC, then it will not work with AkrutoSync.
The initial sync for AkrutoSync is from Outlook on the computer to a mobile device like an iPhone or an iPad mini. The workaround for this, is to manually transfer the calendar contents of the each iOS device to Outlook on the computer thru iCloud first (https://www.akruto.com/backup-phone-contacts-calendar/export-icloud-calendar-as-ical/). Then merge the calendar folders into one folder via Outlook. Then install and configure AkrutoSync first for the iPhone so that the entries will sync back to it. If sync is successful, the iPad mini can be added to the setup.
You may contact [email protected] for further details.

in reply to: Transfer Blackberry contacts to Android using Outlook and Akruto
ModeratorHi Daniel,
All existing contacts on your phone prior to using AkrutoSync cannot be synced thru AkrutoSync. The initial sync for AkrutoSync is from Outlook on the computer to an Android not the other way around. Two-way sync will occur after the initial sync thru AkrutoSync.
There are multiple ways to manually transfer contacts from an Android phone and be imported to Outlook.
You may use this as reference: https://www.akruto.com/backup-phone-contacts-calendar/android-contacts/
Also, when importing a CSV file to Outlook, you can use this guide: https://www.akruto.com/backup-phone-contacts-calendar/import-csv-contacts-to-outlook-2013/ – this works for Outlook 2013 and 2016.Alf Delola
ModeratorHi Mr. L,
If Outlook on your computer has an email account that is either an IMAP or POP3 (example: [email protected]) and its data file has your contacts, you can sync those contacts from Outlook on the computer to your Note 7 using AkrutoSync.

ModeratorHi Manson,
Yes, the Kindle Fire HD will work with AkrutoSync because it runs on Android and supports the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync protocol. During the configuration, select ‘Android’, and follow on-screen instructions. After configuring, you will then have to add an Exchange account on your Kindle Fire HD, and login with the email displayed in the AkrutoSync window on your PC, and the password you set during configuration.
The root source of data is the data file in Outlook from your computer that contains the Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Notes (it depends which category/categories you will sync). In terms of file size limit, as long as those entries or the data file itself is not corrupted, the amount of data used has no threshold during the trial period.

ModeratorHi Val,
First, you need to install AkrutoSync on your computer (https://www.akruto.com/get-akruto-sync/).
Once you have configured it, it will ask you what to sync, please make sure to select the folder for Notes from Outlook of your computer. The notes will sync to your Windows phone but cannot be viewed by the native notes app of the phone. You need to install a Windows notes app to view the synced notes (use either Basic Notes OR Viperal Tasks). For details about Basic Notes OR Viperal Tasks and the settings, go to: https://www.akruto.com/synchronize-outlook-apps/

ModeratorHi Paul,
AkrutoSync is installed on a computer running on Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10 with Outlook 2002/2003/2007/2010/2013/2016/Office 365 with Outlook 2013 or 2016. It is meant to sync to Android, Windows phones, and iOS devices (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch) for Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Notes (it depends which category/categories you sync).
Since you want to sync the notes from your iPhone 6 and your iPad mini, you still a Windows-based computer to be the main source of those notes.
AkrutoSync is not a mobile app for syncing.

ModeratorHi Chen,
Since your ZTE phone is an Android, the Calendar and Contacts entries from Outlook on your computer will sync to the native/pre-installed calendar and contacts app of the phone not the Outlook Android app nor with Outlook.com

ModeratorHi Jan,
Thank you for your interest in AkrutoSync. AkrutoSync will synchronize your contacts, calendar, tasks and notes between Outlook and your devices. It works on Android, Windows phones, and iOS devices (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch).
As long as your HTC phone is either an Android with OS version 5 or 6 or even lower (2.2 is the oldest version that is compatible), it can sync with your Outlook 2013 (computer to phone and vice-versa).
You can try the trial version and download it from https://www.akruto.com/get-akruto-sync/
Alf Delola
ModeratorHi MOD,
At this time AkrutoSync can synchronize only one folder of each type (one folder each for contacts, calendar, tasks and notes). As a workaround, you can use Outlook categories, instead of folders to organize your data in Outlook. Outlook categories are very powerful and let you accomplish everything you do with folders. We understand that this is only a workaround and we are working on synchronizing multiple folders.
We suggest the following if you want to use AkrutoSync:
1. Create a new folder for Calendar in Outlook and merge on the new folder all 3 Calendars
2. Same case with contacts if you have multiple folders your Outlook 2013Then, when using AkrutoSync, it will provide you options on what to sync, select the folder with the merged entries.
You can download the trial version from https://www.akruto.com/get-akruto-sync/
