Set up Samsung Galaxy Note 2 phone to sync with AkrutoSync

Start AkrutoSync program on your PC and click “Configure AkrutoSync”. AkrutoSync will guide you through the configuration process. When prompted to create an Exchange ActiveSync account on your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 phone do the following.

1) Tap the “Apps” icon to see the full list of apps on your phone.

2) Select “Settings” from the app list. Note that the app list may span several screens and that the “Settings” icon may not be on the first screen.

3) Scroll through settings and tap “Add account”.

4) Select the “Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync” account type.

5) Enter the email address shown in AkrutoSync window on your PC and the password you selected (the email address in the screenshot is just an example)

6) Scroll to the bottom of the “Account options” screen and tap “Next”.

7) Name the new account “Akruto”. Tap “Done”.

Your Outlook contacts, calendar and tasks should start appearing on your Samsung phone. It may take from a few minutes to an hour until all the data appears, depending on how much data you have. Plug your phone into a power source, keep Wi-Fi on and keep AkrutoSync window open on your PC until all data is transferred. AkrutoSync window on your PC will display sync status, so that you know when the transfer is complete.
