in reply to: Can I sync Coolpad Torino with Outlook using your software?
ModeratorHi Nölles,
Is this your phone: http://www.gsmarena.com/coolpad_torino-8273.php? If it is, it is supported by AkrutoSync.
AkrutoSync will synchronize your contacts, calendar, tasks and notes between Outlook and your devices. It works on Android, Windows phones, and iOS devices (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch).
Regarding accept and decline meeting invitations – that is not a feature of AkrutoSync for the synced entries on the native/pre-installed calendar of the Coolpad Torino.

ModeratorHi Wong,
If this is your phone: http://www.gsmarena.com/huawei_y6-7440.php – AkrutoSync supports that. AkrutoSync will synchronize your contacts, calendar, tasks and notes between Outlook and your devices. It works on Android, Windows phones, and iOS devices (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch). For the synced calendar entries, it will sync to the native/pre-installed calendar app of the phone.
For notes, to view the synced entries, you need to install an Android mobile app named Tasks & Notes for MS Exchange OR TouchDown (refer to: https://www.akruto.com/synchronize-outlook-apps/).

ModeratorHi Kev,
The ‘Minimize-to-Tray’ option is near the top of our to-do list for AkrutoSync. In the meantime, there are some good software out there that could minimize the AkrutoSync window for you to the system tray. Here are two we would recommend:
1. RBTray – Download page here: http://rbtray.sourceforge.net/
Right click on any program’s minimize button to minimize it to the tray. To restore, single-click the program’s icon in the tray. It’s Only 200kb, free and Open-source. To start every boot, create a shortcut to RBTray.exe in your Start menu’s Startup group.2. TrayIt –
Description: http://winaero.com/blog/minimize-apps-to-system-tray-notification-area-with-trayit/
Official Download page: http://winaero.com/download.php?view.87If you are not satisfied with any of the two, there are many tools (both free and commercial) that will allow you do this. Use your favorite search engine to search for “Minimize to Tray”.

ModeratorHi Kevin,
For Sync over the Internet, the computer needs to have Outlook 2002/2003/2007/2010/2013/2016/Office 365 with Outlook 2013 or 2016 and must be running on Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10. Since it is wired, the phone will connect using cellular data since you do not have a Wi-Fi network in your office. The phone must be getting a 4G / LTE / 4G LTE signal.

ModeratorHi Arno,
Thank you for using AkrutoSync. AkrutoSync synchronize your contacts, calendar, tasks and notes between Outlook and your devices, it does not sync nor affects emails be it in Outlook on the computer or Outlook Android mobile version.
For automatic syncing, the sync is initiated by the phone which looks for new data every 15-35 minutes, this is the set sync interval. There is not a real way to tweak this setting. If AkrutoSync is open and the phone is still connected to the Wi-Fi, the sync will eventually push the changes. You will need to have AkrutoSync running for a sync to occur. It will also work with the AkrutoSync window minimized.

ModeratorHi Tsai,
Yes Sharp Aquos P1 works great with AkrutoSync! You can sync your Outlook’s calendar, contacts, tasks and notes with it.
Some device’s native apps does not support syncing through an Exchange account that Akruto needs you to add on your phone. However we have tested some third party apps that works great in syncing with Akruto. Click this for you to open a page that will provide you information about those apps.
If you have more questions, please drop us a support email.
Thanks and best regards,

Brian Tan.ModeratorHi Samuel,
Thank you for your interest in AkrutoSync. AkrutoSync will synchronize your contacts, calendar, tasks and notes between Outlook and your devices. It works on Android, Windows phones, and iOS devices (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch). Since your phone runs on a different OS, it is not guaranteed that it can be synced using AkrutoSync. To check, on your phone, please go to Settings > Accounts > Add Account – do you have an account that can be added that has the word ‘Exchange’ on it? What does it look like?

ModeratorHi The_One,
Thank you for your interest in AkrutoSync. AkrutoSync will synchronize your contacts, calendar, tasks and notes between Outlook and your devices. It works on Android, Windows phones, and iOS devices (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch), including your Huawei Honor 7 (http://www.gsmarena.com/huawei_honor_7-7269.php). AkrutoSync supports Outlook 2002/2003/2007/2010/2013/2016/Office 365 with Outlook 2013 or 2016 on a Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10.
For Androids phones, the synced data for Calendar and Contacts will be displayed on the native apps of the phone. The initial sync is from Outlook on your computer to your Huawei phone. Sync from phone to computer is possible after the initial. Sync will only occur between phone and computer is online and AkrutoSync is open on that computer (even if it minimized).

ModeratorHi Roderick,
Basic Notes is a pretty basic app. It does have some limitations on the size. Usually, this only becomes an issue if you have a very long note. Our suggestion is to split the note into two.
For Viperal Tasks, you may contact its developer: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/viperal-tasks/9nblggh08wr7

For synced Tasks on a Windows 10 mobile phone, you need to use an app to view them, the name of the app is Viperal Tasks (http://windowsphone.com/s?appId=e0631299-8dd5-df11-a844-00237de2db9e).

ModeratorHello ENNASRI,
Thank you for choosing AkrutoSync for syncing with your phone. I am sorry about the problems you are seeing with Windows. I know this is very frustrating, so I decided to respond personally. I am the author of AkrutoSync.
AkrutoSync is just an app. It does not change anything in the Windows OS, change desktop shortcuts (except that it adds its own shortcut) or change desktop wallpaper. It does not change any features of Windows. It’s just an app.
From what you have described, you will need help from an IT professional who fixes computer problems for a living. This person should be able to tell you the real cause of this problem (it won’t be AkrutoSync) and clean up your computer.
Best Regards

in reply to: Can I restore lost data on my iPad mini synced with Outlook 2007?
ModeratorHi Alan,
Two options:
1. On AkrutoSync in your computer, on the main screen, look for Synchronization History on the left panel. It will have 4 types: Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Notes (it depends which category/categories you sync) – there is no need to click on ‘Select Device/App. When you click on ‘Select All’ – it will provide a data file (PST) that you can import to Outlook.
2. On your iPad mini, could you please go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > do you still have the Exchange account for AkrutoSync? If you do, email us at [email protected] so that we will provide you the process on how to retrieve synced data from your tablet. For Frequently Asked Questions: https://www.akruto.com/f-a-q/
